Lola had always wanted to claim a territory as her own. This claiming could be her once in a lifetime chance. Maybe, just maybe, this will change her whole life for the better. The wind had picked up some, but it was a nice kind of wind. It was a cooling, yet also a refreshing kind of breeze. The sun had been out for sometime already, and seemed to be happy to be out. The water was coming in, and bringing little creatures onto the land.
Lola walked onto the beach, and she walked down to the water. Her paws walked in the water, and this cooling sensation came over her body. Lola watched little insects come up out of the water, with the tide. She smiled as she watched them come out of the water, then scurry back into the water. Lola lifted her head, and howled; this was her land, and this land was going to be hers to raise a pack. Her pack would grow strong, and large; if many ever came. I rein over this land now! She cried out to the ocean, the trees and to the sand.

I have soon found out that when something good comes along, bad things may tag along as well. How do you leave the bad things behind and keep the good things? It is hard to tell the difference between love and a crush. Feelings can turn into something more than just feelings; they can turn into emotions. Sometimes you cannot contain them. |
